A FEW WORDS: Brittany, a young actress that touched the hearts of many fans, collapsed December 20, 2009, in her Los Angeles home. She played many parts, best known for her roles in Girl Interrupted, Riding in Cars with Boys, 8 Mile beside star Eminem (Marshall Bruce Mathers) and of course, Clueless. She was also the voice in the animated series King of the Hill. She was an inspiration. She was loved by many, she will be missed.

Brittany pursued an acting career early in life. In 2007 she married Simon Monjack. She died young at the age of 32. Her cause of death was pneumonia although there were reports that contradicted this conclusion. She was raised by her mother, Sharon Kathleen Murphy. Being supportive of her daughter, Sharon sold everything from her New Jersey home and moved to California to support her daughter's desire to be an actress. As an actress she was a glow stick of positive energy. Brittany also was a singer and some of her performances are still available on YouTube. Many people only remember Brittany in her major roles but she has been in over 40 films, the most notable are : Clueless, Just Married, Uptown Girls, 8 Mile, Girl Interrupted, Don't Say a Word, Sin City, Little Black Book, Spun, Something Wicked, Deadline and many more.
